The engine roar of the world’s most exclusive cars signified an event of a lifetime on Thursday, March 30, at the Circuit of The Americas. Combining fast cars and philanthropy, participants raised more than $183,000, benefiting the Center for Child Protection.

“Ride.Drive.Give. is a one-of-a-kind event here in Austin that has continued to grow since its inception just four years ago,” said Sam Butterworth, Center for Child Protection board member and Ride.Drive.Give. event chair. “Not only are we giving car enthusiasts the chance of a lifetime to drive their vehicle on this famous track, we are also spreading awareness of child abuse in our community, raising funds and creating advocates for children.”

More than 90 drivers experienced the world-famous Circuit of The Americas track navigating their own car around the 20 turns. Participants also received one-on-one instruction from professional drivers and were given the opportunity to drive exotic cars including a Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2, Porsche 911 Turbo S, McLaren 570S, Audi R8 V10 Plus and more.

An additional 40 participants signed up to experience the speed of reputable Hyper-Exotic cars as they rode shotgun in a Ferrari LaFerrari, Ferrari 458 Speciale, Lexus LFA, McLaren 570GT4.

All proceeds from the event benefited the Center for Child Protection. A special thank you to event sponsors: Hilton Austin, McLaren Dallas, Austin Woman Magazine, Tribeza, Motorsports Southwest, Executive Signs and Game Plan Entertainment.
