The 19th annual PlayBingo Ladies Luncheon brought together 1200 influential Austin women and Center for Child Protection supporters for a common cause- ending the cycle of child abuse- and a common love- BINGO. Guest arrived dressed to impress at the Hilton Austin to play bingo, sip bubbles, bid on more than 120 silent auction packages and win some incredible prizes.
2022 in Review

This year’s record breaking event raised more than 1 Million dollars for young victims of abuse in the Austin community. A special thank you to all of our sponsors, Friends of Christopher Guild, volunteers and our emcees, KXAN’s Jim Spencer and Melissa Cason, we could not do it without all of you!
The PlayBingo Ladies Luncheon is hosted by the Friends of Christopher Guild, an organization established out of the community’s despair, frustration and outrage over the death of 2-year-old Christopher Wohlers. Formed in 1998 by concerned women and mothers, the Friends of Christopher Guild has been sustaining and expanding the safety net for abused children in Travis County through the support of the Center for Child Protection. A huge thank you to our Guild for their continued support of this incredible event!

Through fundraisers like PlayBingo Ladies Luncheon, the Center is able to educate more community members about the prevalence of child abuse and provide even more services to Travis County’s most vulnerable children.
