Volunteer Opportunities

What will I do as a volunteer?

Volunteers provide the critical support needed for the Center for Child Protection to successfully meet the needs of child abuse victims and their families. As a volunteer, you will have the chance to learn, meet others and make a difference in a young child’s life.

Which path will you take?

Direct Services Path

Work directly with children & families

Family Support Specialists

Provide a support system for the child and family during the child abuse investigation process, which takes place Monday – Friday during normal business hours.

Front Desk Volunteers

Play a key role as the initial point of contact for our clients, greeting families, assisting with check-ins, and handling package deliveries. We ask for a commitment to a consistent schedule, allowing you to build familiarity with clients and CPT members.

Non-Direct Services Path

Work in support of children & families

Grants Support Volunteers

Assist with researching funding prospects and write and proof letters of inquiry, grant proposals, and reports.

Kid's Closet Volunteers

Organize items, take inventory, and help plan seasonal donation drives for supplies needed by families in crisis.

General Maintenance Volunteers

Assist seasonally to make minor repairs and enhance the Center’s facilities, contributing to a welcoming environment.

Event Volunteers

Engage in the Center’s fundraising events by helping with various tasks including decorating, set up, registration, photography, auction support, and more.
