The Center for Child Protection is accepting applications for a Bilingual Family Advocate to provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, risk/protectiveness assessment, emergency clinical assessment and on-going case management to children and families referred by the Child Protection Team (CPT). This position requires the ability to clinically assess clients on an ongoing basis and generate treatment plans based on assessment.

Requirements include a master’s degree in a behavioral science and licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC or LPC Associate, minimum of two years’ experience including case management services for child victims of sexual and physical abuse, child protection, crisis support and counseling, ability to work collaboratively and effectively with Law Enforcement, the District Attorney’s Office, Child Protective Services, and Forensic Interviewers in the investigation of child abuse and/or children who have been exposed to violent crimes, ability to assess risk factors of forensic interview clients and strategize with Law Enforcement and CPS on safety planning, certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics or a willingness to achieve certification, bilingual English/Spanish Required

This position is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of multiple special events of various sizes. This role requires exceptional project management skills, collaborative engagement with internal departments, external committees, and donors, as well as a passion for creating impactful experiences that support the mission of protecting and supporting children.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in non-profit event management or similar experience, strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with donors, committees, and team members, creative problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail, proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of fundraising principles and donor stewardship is a plus.

The Center for Child Protection is currently accepting applications for a Corporate Volunteer Associate. This position is responsible for the recruitment, training, recognition, and retention of volunteers for fundraising events and corporate groups. This position plans and implements a variety of small to mid-size special events designed to meaningfully engage volunteer teams while meeting Center priorities.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or associate degree or 2 years of relevant work experience, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize workload in a busy environment, ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, ability to communicate tactfully and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and ability to interface with a wide range of external contacts.

The Program intern will perform direct service tasks related to the prevention of abuse. Job duties may include interacting with child victims of abuse and their protective caregivers by overseeing the program/client flow of the children and families on-site for forensic services, and assessing the needs of therapy and medical clients while they wait for services. Daily activities may also include resource development and maintenance, curriculum development, case filing, maintenance of facility readiness, and assisting with administrative duties.

Clinical interns will work with the CCP’s clinical team providing services to clients who have been affected by child abuse and neglect. Clinical interns will have opportunities to engage in assessment, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services. Our agency is site certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and interns will have the opportunity to learn about and implement NMT principles with clients.

This internship is reserved for students seeking course requirements. Bilingual applicants preferred.
